This is the true survivor story of a black woman who experienced a racist and sexist physical assault at the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz, California. I was commissioned to illustrate Kulwa's Story by Laura East (Kulwa's close friend) for instagram social media posts to bring awareness to the rampant racist and sexist treatment by The Catalyst Club security guards.
